Design the field first
Laser cutting opens a range from small repeated motifs to a single graphic form. Edge quality is functional as well as visual: where a curve ends, how much carrier remains visible, and whether a moving piece lifts away from its base all affect the reliability of the final shape.
The material can be hotfixed or glued onto garments and accessories, or used independently as a three-dimensional element. Its ability to hold form supports sculptural work, but the backing surface, curve radius, weight, and stress created during wear still call for a small application test before production.
Form, color, and application
New White and Malibu Blue options challenge the assumption that a crystal surface must read as clear or silver brilliance. White makes shadow and cut edges more graphic, while Malibu Blue combines color and sparkle in one field. In three dimensions, the same color changes intensity between the lit and shaded sides of the form.
